Privacy for HONK! Doogie
The short answer: the game collects nothing about you. The rest of this page explains what that means in practice.
The short version
HONK! Doogie collects nothing about you. There is no account, there are no adverts, there is no analytics, and the game does not send anything over the internet. Your stars and your place in the game are written to your own device and stay there.
Last changed: 12 October 2026.
What is stored, and where
The game writes a small file in its own storage on your phone. It holds your stars, which levels you finished, your best number of moves, your streak in the honk of the day, and your language and sound settings. Nobody else can read that file, and it never leaves the device.
Two things follow from that. Your progress is backed up only if your phone backs up the app, and deleting the app deletes your progress with it. You can also erase it yourself: Settings, Progress, erase.
What is not collected
- No name, e-mail address or account.
- No advertising identifier, and no advertising.
- No analytics, no crash reporting, no usage statistics.
- No location, contacts, photos, camera or microphone.
- No cookies or trackers; the game has no web content.
The game makes no network requests at all. It works with the phone in flight mode, and the duel code you pass to a friend travels by whatever you use to send it, not through us.
Children
The game is rated 4+ and is safe for children, because there is nothing to buy, nothing to sign up for, no adverts and no way to reach other people through it. Since nothing is collected, nothing about a child is collected either.
Your rights
Rules like the GDPR give you the right to see, correct or delete the data an app holds about you. We hold none, so there is nothing for us to show or delete. The data on your own device is yours: erase it in Settings, or by deleting the app.
If this ever changes, this page changes with it, before the version that changes it reaches the App Store.
This website
This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics or trackers. Everything on it, the film and the pictures included, comes from this site itself; nothing loads from other parties. Like any web server, the server keeps short technical logs (such as IP address and time) to keep the site running safely. We do not use them to follow you.
