Support for HONK! Doogie
Questions about settings, progress, the honk of the day and playing together. Is your question not here? Mail us: a person reads every mail.
Ask a question
Mail info@abn.company and you get an answer from a person, usually within two working days. Write in English or in Dutch, whichever you prefer.
Helpful to include: the chapter and level number, which phone you are on, and what you expected to happen.
Questions that come up
- How do I switch between English and Dutch?
- Open Settings from the title screen and use the language switch. The game starts in the language of your phone: Dutch on a Dutch phone, English everywhere else. Your choice is remembered.
- Can I turn the sound off?
- Yes. Settings has a switch for the sound effects and a separate one for the quiet farm ambience underneath them.
- How do I start over?
- Settings, under Progress, has an erase button. It takes your stars and your place off this device and cannot be undone. Your language and sound settings stay as they are.
- I lost my stars after reinstalling.
- Your progress lives on the device only, so deleting the app deletes it with the app. There is no account and no cloud copy, which is also why nothing of yours ends up on a server.
- What is the honk of the day?
- One board a day, the same for everybody, with a streak counter. A new one is ready every day.
- How does playing together work?
- Pick Duel, share the code, and you both play the same board on your own phone. Fewest moves wins. No account is needed; the code carries the board.
- A level seems impossible.
- Every level can be finished, and the hint button (Doogie's idea) points at the next sensible move. Par is the shortest known solution, but you do not need par to move on. If you think a level is genuinely stuck, mail us the chapter and level number.
- Something is wrong. What do you need from me?
- Mail info@abn.company with the level number, your device (for example iPhone 13) and what happened. A screenshot helps. There is no crash reporting in the app, so your mail is the only way we hear about it.
What the game does not do
- No account, no login, no adverts.
- No purchases inside the app.
- No internet connection is used, so the game works on a plane as well as at home.
- Nothing about you is collected. See Privacy.
